Let me just apologize from now that this post is another survey one. I’m struggling, guys. I know I should be writing what I think but, lately, I feel like I have not one original thought in my pretty little head. Bear with me (uhhh-gan). I have a few busy weekends coming up so things will get better. Or they should. god i hope so.
One. Favorite food?
All of it.
Two. You’ve been handed two free round-trip tickets…who are you taking and where are you going?
I think about this a lot, too much, probably. I want to go to Europe in the WORST WAY. But I also want to go to California and Canada and EVERYWHERE. No matter where I go, I’d probably take my mom so that she could pay for things. I mean, if I finagled the tickets, she could buy me dinner in Italy.
Three. Flip flops or high heels?
I just want shoes that don’t make my feet hurt. So far, nothing has fit the bill.
Four. Would you rather have a perfect bum, or a flawless face?
I never had a problem with my face minus the occasional breakout. That being said, I’m still going to go with flawless face as long as it doesn’t mean I’d get to keep the bum I have now. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than nothing. i make no sense at all. whatever.
Five. What shows are you ashamed to admit are on your DVR?
I’m not ashamed of anything I watch on TV but since I’m a team player, I’ll admit that I taped Babes in Toyland (the good one with Drew Barrymore) a few Christmases ago and set it to “Save Until I Delete”.
Six. What’s your ringtone?
I have a Samsung Galaxy but I downloaded the iPhone ringer. My text tone is the AOL instant messenger sound. my coolness knows no bounds.
Seven. Favorite places to shop … for me!
Just get me an American Express gift card or cash.
Eight. Standard coffee order?
From Dunkin Donuts it’s usually either an iced coffee with cream, an iced caramel latte with cream (yes, I know it’s going to be light. i’ll live.), an iced hazelnut swirl with (you guessed it) cream or an apple cider – if it would ever come back. From Starbucks it’s usually a hazelnut frappuccino, a vanilla macchiato, a passion tea lemonade or a vanilla bean frappuccino.
Nine. Road trip must have snacks?
I usually just walk into 7-11 or Wawa, open my tote bag and Supermarket Sweep the shit out of the
candy aisle store.
Ten. DIY or hire it out?
Eleven. What was your first car, and did you name it?
I drive my mom’s Kia. I named her Kelly.
Twelve. Top 5 TV shows.
Oh, don’t do this to me.
1. The Mindy Project
2. TGIT minus Scandal
3. Almost any of the reality shows on TLC and Lifetime.
4. Jane the Virgin
5. Dancing with the Stars
6. Almost anything on HGTV, DIY and The Food Network.
Thirteen. Favorite Book?
I love to read but I don’t have a favorite book. I have a goodreads that you should follow/friend. Fair warning: Like with my television viewing, I am not ashamed that the books I read don’t require much thinking.
Fourteen. Favorite form of exercise?
Clearly, I haven’t found it yet.
Fifteen. How tall are you?
I’m going to go with 5’2.
Sixteen. Do you try something new at restaurants or stick to your favorites?
I usually try something new unless I’ve been to the restaurant before and/or I am craving something specific.
Seventeen. What would you request for your last supper?
I recently read a story about why Texas doesn’t give death row inmates a last meal choice anymore. Apparently, the last guy to have a say in his last meal ordered, like, everything he could have thought of and then didn’t eat a bite. you know what they say about that one bad apple… Anyway, that would be me except I’d probably eat it all. I mean, last meal EVER? It could take days.
Eighteen. One make-up item you can’t live without?
Nineteen. Will you leave the house without makeup?
More than I probably should.
Twenty. What’s on your night stand?
SO. MUCH. SHIT.
Twenty-one. Have you ever been hospitalized, and if so, what for?
Twenty-two. You just unloaded your Halloween haul…what candy do you go for first?
REESES. or anything full sized.
Twenty-three. One thing motherhood has taught you.
I’m not a mother, but knowing my own, I’ve got big shoes to fill.
Twenty-four. Do you have any siblings, and if so, where are you in the birth order?
I joke that I have an older sister who is a real bitch and refuses to come around, but in actuality, I’m all byyyy myyyyseelllfff.
Twenty-five. What do you eat for breakfast?
Usually a bagel. Sometimes a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel with an iced coffee. If I’m feeling really fancy, I’ll get it from the diner. what’s up with all the food questions?
Twenty-seven. If you could live anywhere in the world other than your current city, where?
Watch me jump through this loophole. My current city is Brooklyn. I would love to live in New York City (Manhattan), preferably the Upper East Side. Therefore, I would get to stay in the five boroughs; it’s the best of both worlds! Playing fair, I’d have to say whatever city Father of the Bride was shot in. Or in one of those big, charming neighborhoods/homes in the South.
Twenty-eight. Tell us something about you we might not know.
I never know what to say. I’m an open book.
Twenty-nine. Websites you read/browse (besides blogs)
YouTube, Facebook, Twitter. I’m also a big link-clicker so I’m really all over the place.
Thirty. Morning person or night owl?
I’m an all day kind of person. I don’t mind being up early and I like staying up late.
Thirty-one. What’s your best feature?
My eyes. Also, my sparkling personality, winning sense of humor and my ability to quote movies on a whim.
Thirty-two. What would you do for a living if you didn’t need money?
Fill my days with fun things and go on adventures so that I’d have something to put on this blog besides surveys. I mean, I love them but, really.
Thirty-three. Finish this sentence: Every room needs….
A smart TV, a bed, a laptop and room service. And a window.
Thirty-four. How frequently do you wash your hair? Do you have any hair secrets or tricks?
I probably should wash it everyday because the oil situation is real. I usually wash it every other day, depending on what’s going on.
OK. We’ve come to the end. I’m trying to put together a Friday favorites post, since I haven’t done one in a while and since I bought the cutest sheets the other day. Other than that, I’ll see what I can do. I apologize if this was boring. I’ve been reading posts from the bloggers whose writing I admire, trying to figure out how to make things interesting. Like, Heather from Dooce wrote about making a phone call and it was great. A PHONE CALL. Now that’s talent. I’ll get there. Things will get interesting. If I keep saying it, it will happen, right? Putting things out to the universe or something.
What’s going on with you guys? If you want to do this survey, feel free! Let me know so I can read your answers!
